Mayan Magic Soothes Painful Radiation Burn
"A few months ago, I was diagnosed with Lymphatic Cancer.
The right side of my neck had begun to swell in the form of what looked like a rope running down my neck under the skin. When I visited my doctor, she referred me to a specialist immediately, and it was discovered that my stomach was full of Lymphatic Cancer.
I began 6 months of Chemotherapy, which was followed by 20 radiation treatments – 5 per week, for 4 weeks. After the 7th or 8th day of radiation, the skin on the whole right side of my neck gradually began to burn more and more with each treatment.
Eventually, the right side of my neck was covered in a bright red burn, similar to a 2nd-degree sunburn – and it hurt like it too. When I first applied Mayan Magic to the area, it started to soothe the burn immediately.
After 4-5 days, the balm really seemed to take the burn out of the skin. The skin started to feel a lot better.
I continued to apply the balm, and the skin is now a very light brown colour now and doesn’t even look scarred. You can hardly tell that the burn happened.
The skin is still a little numb and my Doctor said it will be for some months, but will eventually return to normal.
